I've been loving the precipitation, lately. The slow fall of snow has been an amazing balm, and it's turned the whole world white. We're supposed to have three nights straight of this, and I can only hope.

( We're finally getting the snow we should be getting in March and April... cut for pictures and details. )

Yesterday, Jet's school district had a snow day in anticipation of the 6-8 inches of snow that was supposed to fall here. Given that the temps were in the high 60's the day before, most of the snow that fell on the sidewalks and streets melted and all the roads were clear. Suffice to say that life's been insane up to this point. *laughs* Good. Very good, but utterly insane.

I added to the insanity, today, by driving 90 miles each way to Monument, CO, and meeting up with 2metaldog and Tam, the friend she was staying with, AND making it back home in time for a very intense time with my eye doctor about my eye problems.

A few years ago we went to Frasier Hill, up in Winter Park, and we discovered that inner-tubing can be a lot of fun, especially down a huge hill that's icy with packed snow and actual rope lifts to do the hard part of hauling oneself and the tube back up the hill ( Read more... )

We've been busy, which probably surprises no one. *laughs* It's funny to write it all down and realize all that I've been doing when I thought I was getting "nothing" done... *laughs*

Yesterday it was 60° outside, today there's 10" of snow and the fluffy white stuff is still falling down. DIA is flailing, so folks flying through Colorado are having lots of problems.
