It was the first thing they ate together. They have just met and were really awkward. He found her interesting and wanted to know more about her. He could not believe that it is her, the girl he met at the bookstore wearing a pair of red glasses.
Fruit Shakes with Ma:
It was the first drink she made for him when he came back from Thailand. For a moment, he really felt her care for him. Watching her, he secretly wished he could just go over to hug her and plant soft kisses on her neck.
Spaghetti:
It was what they ate after a game of pool, a game which he hated but willingly be dragged to play because she wanted to learn. He just casually mentioned that he loves spaghetti over their meal The next thing he knew, she learnt how to make it just so she could please him. From then on, he started to fall for her.
Pattbingsoo:
She has always wanted to go out in her school uniform and eating pattbingsoo, it was her unfulfilled wish. He was desperate to get back in her good graces after starting the experimental mildang with her. He was falling hard for her after the event she prepared for his birthday. He was afraid at the intensity he was feeling and hope to find out how she felt. Seeing her happy expression and together with the handmade book that left she feeling touched, he knew he was heading in the right direction.
Goguma Ice Cream:
They were feeling relaxed and enjoying each other's company in Japan where they visited the local goguma town. She look like a kid in a candy store at the discovery of the goguma ice cream. It was here that they finally beared their hearts to each other and she telling him that she will breakdown the walls for him. It was also in Japan that he realized that he may very well be in love with her.
Sea Salt Prawn:
It was what they had after harvesting the sweet potatoes that they painstakingly planted. It was here he revealed his wish for her to speak in Banmal with him. It is also here he revealed how she has been occupying his mind all the time that he writes songs about her to channel his pent up thoughts. This is where he finally has the license to hold her hand like how couples do, interlocked like how he always wanted.
Japanese Beef Rice:
It was what he prepared for their breakfast together. She looked so tired from her schedule which made his heart ached for her. It was just the small thing he could do for her to show her his love and concern for her. It was the moment he felt like her real boyfriend and not a virtual husband. He was just a normal guy preparing a meal for his girl he loves.
Samgyeopsal:
It was a tiring day but a fun filled day at the slopes. He knew he was hard on her but she did not know that if he had his way, he would run to her when to try and catch her fall. He knew she does not want to be coddled too much so he held on to his control and watched her learn on her own. It was also the time when she was comfortably feeding him on and off camera without a hint of shyness like as though it was what she had been doing for the longest time.
Roasted Goguma:
It was after a month after their time on the show ended and she was still in Korea before starting her group's intense promotions in Japan. He finally cannot take it any longer, he needs something from her and it is only her that will help him feel his void. Carrying a tub of roasted gogumas that he specially prepared for her, he makes his way to her dorm and his heart on his sleeves in it's full glory.
"Seo Joo Hyun, these are for you. Would you be willing to share them with me?"
Smiling, she takes the tub from him with a knowing look in her eyes.
"What took you so long to ask?"
Stepping in to her dorm, he finally felt that he has goften the whole of her.
