Spring break is coming to an end. It's gone by really fast... almost feels as though I never went on break to tell you the truth. That might be due to the fact that I've kept fairly busy with work and friends and what have you.
Oh - my Grandmom has been back from the hospital for a few days now and she seems to be doing better. I know she got a doctor's appointment though because she hadn't felt too well physically, but we think that's just a result of being so sick for so long.
On Wednesday Chris ended up coming down but it was too late to go along with the Williams-crew. My Mom was also having a really bad week so we were unable to do dinner at my house. However, Chris did get to meet my Mom and we talked for a little bit and such. My mom seems to like Chris which makes me happy and invited him to come down for dinner later. So Chris and I acted like prostitots and roamed the mall for awhile - just browsing since neither one of us has money to spend. ha. After that we headed to dinner at the all-so fancy Friendly's... got free icecream... was a good dinner (Although just prior to that, I had saved Chris' life when he reacted really poorly to a soda bottle about to overflow... I quickly flew in, shut the bottle, and saved the day. I think Chris may still have been recovering from shell-shock. lol). After dinner we went to go see Constantine at the Regal in Brandywine. Um, yah - movie tickets there are now $9.25 a piece... wtf?!? Chris paid though, so.. it's all good from my angle.. hehe. Once there though... I was soooo exhausted after working 7am-3pm and not taking a nap afterwards that I kept falling asleep during the movie. I probably actually saw between 15-30 minutes of it total, Chris - the sweet guy that he is - would wake me up every time I started to snore. haha. After that we called it a night.
Last night Laura, Carl, Kathy, Andrew (with a brief appearance by the orchestra kids) and I hung out. We did dinner at a diner (that was actually pretty good) that I'd never been to before (after wheeling-and-dealing and the Sprint shop). After that we headed back to the Williams' where we played a couple rounds of Rummy, Poker, Hearts, Black-jack, and War. Add in the fact that we'd been drinking a little bit and it made for an extremely entertaining night. I mean - I, as I usually do, ended up crying I was laughing so hard. lol.
I think that does it for me... Going to eat and try and get some work done before heading off to work,
Kyle
