don't cry for us... utaaaaaah
Hello all,
It's been awhile since I've updated. I've been uber-busy with school, work, and other less exciting things. I had some time (it is 2:45am) and a LOT of caffeine... so I thought I would update.
This week has kind of been hell. I had 3 essays [which equal an exam grade] for American Experience, a Statistics assignment [which I believe is a 1/4 of my grade], and my candidacy application [which determines whether i actually become a social worker or not] which consisted of a letter of reconmendation from a faculty member, a letter of recomendation from an outside source, a letter proving at least 20 hours of community service, and a letter of intent [why i think i would make a good social worker/what i've learned so far. my letter totaled 5 pages... single spaced.]... all due this week. The only thing that kept me sane was Chris... who stayed up with me while I wrote till 3am each night. He's a good guy I tell you... EXCEPT...
Today.. ya know... April Fools day... yah... didn't realize it was April Fools day. I was getting ready for Kim to come over [she needed help with a project] and I get a txt-msg from chris saying "we need to talk"... which he sent me before [awhile back] after we had first decided to date... and the talk consisted of "us" deciding not to date anymore. So needless so say... I start kind of panicking... lol... then I get a txt-msg back saying "JUST KIDDING! HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY! LOVE YOU BABE!!!". I pretended to be mad at him for about an hour and a 1/2 after that. hehe.
Tonight I went out with Laura and Carl... we had planned the other night to take a trip to South Street. Before heading out to Philly we stopped off at a Bar in our hometown to talk to some of Carl's co-workers. I of course had my favorite... the good ol' apple martini. After the Bar Carl's friend Pete joined us and we headed out to South Street. While driving we realized we were near Lauren [she goes to the Art Institute] so we called her up and we made a detour to Cosi (after driving in numerous circles trying to find a parking spot). Lauren brought a couple of her friends whose names I didn't catch/don't remember. But we all sat around... I of course had a mint mocha... I was totally loaded up on caffeine... and then both Laura and I got a "double trouble brownie sundae". Laura suggested sharing one but I thought it would be small so I said we should each get one... um... yah.. def shoulda shared. The thing was HUGE... .but it was soooo good. Then we sat around talking and what not... it was so funny. We were lighting smores on fire and stuff because Lauren was taking pictures for a project or something for school... I don't really care what the reason.. lighting things on fire is a blast... hehe. But yes... we were there until about 11... we never made it to South Street. haha. It was SUCH a fun night though. Thanks to Carl & Pete for treating (although ya's didn't have to!).
Now - should I watch Bambi or Aladdin? I have both... Chris got them for me. [Monday is our 2nd Month Anniversary. lol.. i know.. how sappy/corny can we be? :-p oh well!]
