Yesterday I had a really fun time at work, thanks mainly due to the people I was working with: Jim, Heather, Kathy and Shannon. How come it's always Kyle and the managers? lol. It was an interesting day at work though, a film crew (from Wawa) came in at about 9am until about 1pm. They were making those stupid training videos in my store - why my store? - I have no idea, especially since my store is rather ghetto in look, ha.

So yes - Wawa-TV was at work, and the customers had no idea what was going on. However; after about an hour the novelty of the crew being there wore off and they just became extremely annoying and were just simply in the way. Both Shannon and Jim had to be in the video and it was really funny. Heather, Kathy and I had refused to take part in the movie (I prefer it behind the camera, thanks. lol.) but eventually they started pressuring me to be in it because they had to film this stupid scene where a kid (me) steals a crate of cigarettes while the store associate is stocking. It was very dramatic. I had tried to tell the crew that I was Amish and couldn't be in front of the camera, but it didn't work. hehe.

So I got done work at 3pm and then I went with my Dad to get some errands done. Awhile after getting home we received a phone call from my grandmom (who on Friday went into the hospital due to a really bad case of the flu). My sister had picked up the phone and was talking to her and she told my sister that she was at the beach (when she was really at the hospital). So my sister started to panic and gave the phone over to my mother. When my mom started to speak to her my grandmom then told her that she was in a motel. So, yah - definitely odd. So my mom eventually gave the phone over to my dad and when my grandmom started to talk to him she began to remember where she was and started laughing telling my dad that she must have "really screwed with their heads".

The doctors say that my grandmom will probably be fine though, they think the "weirdness" is caused by this [insert term that I forget here] thing that the elderly seem to get when in hospitals; basically they lose track of time and therefore get easily confused. So, my grandmom is coming home from the hospital today and they expect a full recovery... yippie!

So yes - I work today from 4pm-9pm and then Dan and I are probably going to hang out for a little bit around 10 or so... then tomorrow I work from 7am-3pm and then Chris is coming down around 5 to hang-out [yeeeea!] and we're probably going to hangout with Laura, Carl and maybe some others. Chris is also going to meet my parents [basically] for the first time... so yea for that! haha.

This concludes this entry - lol,
Kyle
