And One For The Road
Today I applied for my first real job. Why I want it:
1. It will use both my geology and broadcasting and cinematic arts skills I learned. (I knew it could be done!)
2. It is a term job meaning only for 13 months to 4 years. I don't' want to start no long term career now.
3. It involves riding in a helicopter, hiking in mountains, and observing erupting volcanoes.
4. I am qualified for it.
5. It's a government position...and once I get my foot in the door...imagine where I could go (actually...this is where I would want to go if I got a gov't. job anywhere else)....and just imagine the benefits and hours required (no more than 40 a week!)
5. It's in Freakin' HAWAII!!!!!! Holy shitballs.
Reasons why I may not get it:
1. It involves good communication skills.
My mom found the job opening too. Go her!
Now, for tonight. Josh and I made indian food on the fly and OMG it was DE-LISH! Amazingly good. It was a coconut cream sauce and chicken.
So pretty much...I am awesome.
