random ramblings
Hello My following. I suddenly felt quite lonely b/c I realized the poster I read the most (b/c he is the only one that posts frequently) is Halcyon. He lives in California, wears a lot of pink, and lives his life as art, and pretty much on the internet. He believes in hugs. I believe in hugs, and I like the color pink a lot too. But he doesn't know me. His stuff is posted every where. He has a show on NBC.com called Fears. Regrets. Desires. So does he count as my following? No. Unless he reads this. I am his following, and his following is quite a bit larger than mine. But his message is probably better....
I am so cold. I wore all my warm stuff yesterday and couldn't do it again today. I've got a one day limit. Now I'm cold and stuck wearing my hat and scarf at my desk.
I made an epoxy mount last night of HRL 27. Brendan is going to take that mount and another one to UT to get back scatter imaged (mapped) so that later I can use it on the ICP-MS laser ablation microscope. I'll be analysing four samples. I need to figure out what my other three are! They are in a mount already, I just need to find my map that tells me what is what.
OMG. I took more thin section pictures, and these...these are better than all the rest! They are beautiful. Calvin even said they were Gorgeous and need to be put on a poster. Go to flickr.com search for my name (new last name) and look for pics labeled HRL 32 through HRL 36. Maybe I can put a good one here.
