 I'm in the middle of the last push for the Shiny Project (also known under it's real name Natti natti) and the commas are hunting me. I find them, mull them over and then either keep or reject them. And besides the fact that I cried the entire last hour of the book (it's about a girl and her dying mother, very tear-jerking) I despaired.  Another rejection letter showed up in my in-box yesterday. This one was good and bad mixed. They can't accept my book and they make no promises BUT, they would like to see it again after I've worked on it along some guide lines they mentioned. I'm supposed to call the editor tomorrow for more information. Yay! I think?... 

I've been thinking and talking with boss about one of the opinions I got from the publishing house. If my 'lad in distress' was a damsel instead; would they think of him/her as an object then?
