I don't know what they're like where you are, but everyone that I've worked with on Monkey's speech was amazing, and really supportive. And once she got going, she kind of just flew. Hopefully it's something they can give you some help with.
And it could be all sorts of things--not being around other tiny people, could be that he's got something like Monkey did and isn't hearing properly... could be that he's just taking his sweet time.
The good thing is that you're working on it early. Way, way better to do it now than when he goes to school.
*hugs* It's never easy to deal with a sick kid.

It never, ever is. I just hope that we're going to get past the never-ending string of ear infections now, and get her speech on track.

It's just a little odd still to go from the mother of 2 gifted children, to being the mother of a special needs kid.
I dunno. Anyway, I hope the tubes fix what the need too, and no more sickies!
