I am, for the moment, gleefully free from the secret touching game called gainful employment. Yesterday was my last day at Miserable Old Job (MOJ) and I don't start Shiny New Job (SNJ) until January 2.

Well, we went to Remlinger Farms yesterday with mztea and Li'l A and had a fabulous time. In addition to a couple of very cool carving pumpkins (a steal at 10 cents a pound!), we picked up some yummy fig preserves and apple butter. Really, if you want to feel absolutely fabulous, go buy yourself a $6 kite at Safeway or Rite-Aid and take a ride to the closest piece of ocean beach you can find. That's what we did today, and it was so much fun!
