one of a chain of a dozen of empty factorys and warehouses in the south harbour. the most well known of this family is "rice factory squat" wich deserves its own entry in the future (and is in fact in north harbour). "power plant" is the south harbour landmark, it is a popular graph spot, and theres a guy with a gun guarding it. my favourite building is RoPaSi, just because thats what its named cuz its a rope paper string factory.

on the very south west edge of the CBD is this office building conected to a fire station.
a block later is an entirally abandoned block with this empty coffee shop displaying a shelf of different bean in jars. i want to loot them but the building is secured to the point that it would be very criminal to enter it.

my bank is part of one of several prime completely abandoned blocks in the CBD. this block breaks down in to about 16 buildings
8 gutted or completely trashed
3 under perma construction
1 department store under ambigious construction
1 operating hotel
2 buildings with open stores (a. chinese food, b. ugly dresses) on the first floors and abandoned upstairs
1 totally boarded up 8 story garment trade building with its air conditioner running.
i can climb almost completely arround the block jumping from roof to fireescape to roof... except for the stupid hotel in the way.
of the office buildings in the back ground... one is under perma construction and the others are sparsely occupied.
possible source of 100 year old gigantic building materials, cypress, bargewood, hardwood floors, railroad tie sizex floor joists.
stripped out iron balconies access roof.
weird building inaccessible except from labrinthlike courtyard. its a 3 story brick building with only external stair cases and every floor is just a giant room with a fire place at both ends. waht the fuck is it ?? prolly something to do with slavery.???
THERE IS ABSOLUTLY NUTHING INSIDE THIS BUILDING !!! just steel beams and girders.
no interior walls or floors... giant empty fake building !!!!!
The "AND..." building sits on a block with its 5 other abandoned freidns. completely abandoned block save for a parking garage.
other buildings on the "and..." block. acess looks easy with a little climbing. buildings appear to be in a state of arrested demolition.
LSU medical center
LSU's medical center seems to be sitting fully stacked with beds and equipment filling all the rooms. the ground floor is boarded up except for a door in the loading bay near the emergency ambulance parking spot. big white trucks park there and there seems to be a care taker if not a cleaning and maintenance staff who seem to number about 4-8.
across the street is another medical building of some sort. totally abandoned.

part of kraus department store... we we're dumpstering cardboard there and a little old italian man came out and told us off.
two well known abandoned french quarter mansions.
the red one has plenty recnet history with my friends. dirt squatted there with el jefe when they first got to town but left due to ghosts. then ross and kitty got a job house sitting it but were fired for being alcholics. last month, mary-belle broke in to it with a friend she wanted to seduce. me and may-be are the long time best friends we are cuz of a shared love of trying to seduce people with abandoned buildings. we kind of pulled the exact same move on eachother the first time we met... kinna like crotching tiger....its a long story...
the tulane-canal-broad triangle has lots of potential treasure in it.
this triangle encompases Dixie beer and Falstaff beer and contains many important abandoned motels... this motel , shot from the window of the dixie tower, has aa parking lot full of un flooded specialty vehicules (dirt bike, forklift, elcamino) and a well loved graph courtyard. neighbours and crackheads give you evil eye arround here.....
this is not to be confused with the famour motel squatt that housed a population of arround 100 including crack heads, gutter punks , and even families with children.
the survey does not include mortevilles 100,000 empty fucked up houses.
i have totally quit all exploring houses unless i know them to have their blight/adjudicate on. when you get caught by home owners you feel like an invasive asshole.
the commercial and industrial districts are my new candy tho.
unfortuantly my two main crushes are traveling right now. this is total bullshit.
