Hey I'm making another entry
It is 2:15am on a Saturday night .... what else would I doing! Anja is coming for a visit and I am excited (I miss you)! Tryin to get some work done and out of the way. So I can play tomorrow.
Things are going well, and slowly gettin my groove on. I have yet to do a lot of work as I am homeless and roam the streets late at night and early in the morning. Picking up scraps and fending of bezerk crazy squirrels! Seriously pushy rodents in these parks. But soon (fingers crossed) I will have some digs of my own, then I can get it on.
Friday night a bunch of us went to MONA's, a fave watering hole, and got well ... watered! After midnight they ignore the no smoking ban and then it really gets ugly. It is like a time machine. You go in one evening, and then wow it is the next day! By the time I staggered home it was about 5:00am. Meg White (the lesser stripe) was there in an awful dress. We were making fun of it - secretly. It won't however stop me from going to Coney Island tomorrow night to check out their show. I am fired up for this - have wanted to see for a long time. They are playing with the Shins (yay) and M.Ward. Exciting times. Many good gigs coming up! Pixies,Beck,Belle and Sebastian,Rufus Wainwright, My Morning Jacket (Anja we ARE going). AnywaYS, I hope everyone is keepin on and doin fine! I will try to post some pics in the future, but now I is tired. It is exhausting living like this. Damn Squirrels!
Dan by the way we will go to CBGB's when Anja is here, and rock hard like metal dan. The lease is done but they are still fighting. I walk by there often when I am going home. It is very near where I am staying. Hasn't been many acts I want to check out though.
