Festering in the City
I am growing a beard. Very unsexy... unless you like beards. The deal is I didn't shave for a few days, got ingrown whiskers, and now they are infected with some NYC germs! gotta keep the hair until this clears up. Hmmmm. Okay enough about that. The week has been pretty good. Sunday we saw the Shins and White Stripes at Keyspan Park. From the stands it was okay, but thanks to a rockstar connection I was able to go down front where it was great. Monday night went to see BRMC at Irving Plaxa. Really good. They rock much better live. I only know their 1st album, which to me are still the best songs. It went on a little long so we left a bit early and went around the corner for a beer (translation got really loaded).
School is good. Still don't have a routine and am homeless so it is hard to get much work done. Jensenne I am doing a Digital Video class! It is exciting and lots of work. Learning lots there. You should come down for a visit (once I have digs). We can shoot some video.
Went to Brett's office last week and he set me up with a bunch CD's and reference material for projects. Super rad! I am re-inspired. He also set me up with studio space at RCA to use in the interim while I am looking for a joint of my own. That's all for now. Anja is here in 2 weeks so I am trying to get my shit together before she arrives so we can play. Love to everyone. Over and Out.
