Smile. It makes people wonder what you're up to.
I had one of the best weekends of my life. It was really quite amazing.
Friday:
I didn't get to sleep until around 3:40 am and I had to wake up at 5:30 because I was studying for my Neuro exam. Luckily, Stefan had stopped by to help keep me awake. We talked about a lot of stuff and all around it was a pretty good time. After I had woken up, I went to Starbucks to study with my friend and I had a hot apple carmel cider. If you haven't had it, try it. It's very yummy!! :) Anyway, the exam went pretty well, I'm glad it's over. There was a really awkward moment between one of my friends from physics... it was so awkward that it kept making me laugh whenever i thought about how awkward it was. ::awkward turtle paddles away:: I had three more papers that were due the day before that I had to finish up... oh well.. hehe. and after that, I went to Dominick's with Jenny to buy stuff for the party.
Later that night, we went to the President's Ball. It was a blast, and there are pictures up on facebook (well, at least on my friends' sites. mine aren't up yet). I GOT A GINORMOUS CRACKER!!! After the ball, Ruth and her brothers dropped me off at the airport because Happy was flying in. It was funny, because I joked about how funny it would be if at the last second I saw him as we were pulling away... and then guess, what?? It almost happened!
Saturday:
Jenny got Happy and I into Brookfield Zoo for free!!! She also got us tickets to see the children's zoo, but we didn't have enough time for that. Ah well. Ruth picked us up from Brookfield and we went back to the apartment followed by going to see a CSO concert. It was fun because the orchestra was dressed in costumes. However, we did come in 20 minutes late and only got to see two of the songs. ::sighs:: still, it only cost $10 so yay!
The rest of the day was spent preparing for the party which was probably one of the most disorganized parties I've ever co-hosted. It was kind of funny though... heh. And still a good time/turn out. We ended up watching 28 Days and Shaun of the Dead. I fell asleep half way through the second so I'm going to have to watch the rest of it at some point. ;)
Sunday:
Happy ended up leaving on Sunday, but thanks to time changing (which I forgot) I had an extra hour with him--possibly one of the best feelings ever. I find it amusing that I can dislike a state I've never been to so much. It makes me feel kind of guilty that I do.
I finished the day off by having some Panda Express orange chicken, going to Borders and buying presents for my brothers, my brother's fiancé, their roommate, and myself (3 Star Wars books... hahaha!!!) and carving a pumpkin.
Anyway, that's enough of an update for now. Must get back to studying for a quiz I forgot I had... gar. Not on top of things this week.. blah.
