This is posted mainly for my own reference. It's a review of a book against gay marriage by another conservative who is pro gay-marriage and makes the conservative arguments for it. I am finding it useful as a concisely put set of answers to some of the "why gay marriage?" questions that people have--not necessarily right answers, mind you.

This article makes me pretty sad and angry. The City Manager of Largo, Florida is in the process of being removed from his position following an announcement that he plans to pursue a sex-change operation. The General Synod (national meeting) of the United Church of Christ, the denomination of the church where I work, that hosts Theatre@First, has overwhelmingly passed a resolution in support of equal marriage rights for all people, regardless of gender.
