man I've been away from NZ for 45 days!! Back on Sat.
now I'm back, it's the middle of summer, just got back from a winter that was getting cold, so now the heat is killing me. And I can't not sleep in the heat bah. And I think maybe I'm still a bit unadjusted to the time here...

mum gone to Taupo yesterday til Sunday and then she's going back to Taiwan on Wednesday.

1. Woman seriously injured after reportedly hanging from power lines

Last weekend, we discovered a GIANT dead rat in our garden. Just curled up dead on the lawn, about equal distance from the fence and from the wall on either side of it, i.e. in the middle, or "dead center" (haha I killed myself...)
