Cute Kid Story
As typical when visiting the the SullenCoon's house, I went ahead and gave both tLD and the Kit their bath. After bathtime, the Kit typically gets to watch a 30 minute episode of a show of her choice (tonight's show was one featuring the Backyardigans searching for the ultimate surfer beach) before bedtime. When it's not too late, tLD gets to watch as well.
We were all sitting and watching when the Bit got up from the couch, walked over to the door and said, "Want go home!" in a most insistent tone of voice. When her parents, stunned by this desire to leave the siren call of the television set, failed to react in time, she said again, "Want go home. Bye-bye beach! Bye-bye TV!"
We took her home.
