The Local News
1) Yesterday was my last day at work. They don't know this, but the numbers won't lie.
2) I am back in college and it is great. Zoology was an easy thing to get a degree in, lots of memorization and "well DUH that's how it works" moments. Soil science is making my brain hurt. Hurt so good. The only weird thing is being in classes where the TAs are people I graduated with. Easy As, here I come!
3) It seems no one has any good news anymore. Yesterday was kind of a downer, one thing after another. At a farm that I service, they had two barn cats that would follow me around, hoping to find mice in the traps I'd open. Well, one of those cats had its tail run over by a forklift and darted off. By the time people caught up with it, it was already deep into shock and it didn't survive. How terrible.
4) Brix had his face ripped open by a pitbull at the dog park. The dumb bitch who brought the dog didn't even put him on a leash afterwards. We paid $120 to have Brix looked at and to get antibiotics, but the vet wanted $350 for stitches. Effffthat. I was feeling good about the decision until my coworker told me about having to put his dog down after a face wound turned south. This all went down about a week ago and Brix looks fine...now Zach is on a mission to find the owner of the pitbull and shove the bill in her face, wee!
