Zach left a little less than 4 hours ago to go on a rat shooting trip.
And apparently, I am terrible at figuring out what to do with myself. Typically the post-campus day consists of walking Brix and/or going to the dog park, making dinner, watching a downloaded tv series or parts of a movie, studying, showering, then sleeping. Maybe running somewhere in there.
This brings up a pile of realizations:
a) I suck at steaming asparagus
b) The thought of walking Brix alone is frightening...he's not a monster, but I haven't trained him at all.
c) Even more frightening is the thought of making it through tomorrow. Zach sets the alarms at night and makes the coffee before waking me. Earlier this week I got up before him and FOOLISHLY thought I could make it through a day without coffee. That was the worst day in recent history.
d) This evening, I had a tree identification test and got a 97%. The most abundant tree in the PNW, and one of the easiest to identify, is the Douglas-fir. For these reasons, I didn't bother to study it at all, and for that reason, it was the only question I got wrong.
e) Zach is my Douglas-fir :(
