Oh happy day!!!!!

Oct 28, 2005 14:02

First of all I would like to give a big apology to all of my loyal readers, as I have been far to busy to write in my blog (you know you missed reading my ever so important posts ;)

Secondly, I would like to warn you. What you are about to read is happy material. I know you guys don't like reading about happy posts and you would prefer me to be emo and give stupid one liners from songs that are supposed to challenge your mind, but I feel that that is a cheap and impersonal way of blog writing, so if this is too happy for you, you can kiss my..................................

So, life has been crazy recently. I'm in the process of moving to a new apartment, I've been taking care of the kitty cat from hell, I've been trying desperately to make an attempt at studying my espanol, and actually I have been having quite the social life recently. I have discovered that I like to get up early (but of course, it does help to have a kitten jump on your face at 8:00am).

Today, I didn't have to be at work till 11:00, but with my new found love for the morning time, I got up early, called my soon to be ex-roommie and went to the Pancake House to grab some breakfast. I had some of the best pancakes I have ever had (Georgia Pecan with some sort of lemon syrup) and about 8 cups of coffee (Needless to say, there were several glares; people don't seem to like me when I come into the office bursting with sunshine) And on a side note: Even though my waitress will never see this post, I would like to thank her for being so "on the ball" this morning, making sure that my coffee never got below the 3/4 full line. Oh how I love and appreciate thee!!!

I must say, I really can't complain about the way life has been going. I have a wonderful boyfriend, a great job, awesome co-workers, a bratty (but adorable) kitten, great friends, and a spanish teacher that postponed the next test for an entire week. Oh, how I love life!!!!

But there was ONE thing that I was worried about for like, a second. I didn't think I was going to be able to devise a way of keeping my kitty cat out of my make shift room when I needed him to be, but of course, I am a genius and decided to just place my bookcase next to the kitchen, which will completely block that little bastard off when I need him to stay out.

And just in case the previous paragraph was confusing for you, I have decided to move in with my friend, who also happens to work at HP. She is trying to get out of debt, so she offered for me to stay in her living room (it's actually quite a nice size and has hardwood floors) for only $275 (including utilities) so I gladly took her up on her offer. This works out wonderfully because A) i get to help my friend get out of debt B) this will allow me to save a ton of money (especially considering that it looked like it was going to cost me at least $600 a month PLUS utilities PLUS about $900 in moving expenses) and C) i really don't like the idea of living alone. So.............it all worked out for the best.

I can't wait for this weekend to kick off. Tonight I get to go see my brother(DJ OMAC) and Adam X play at the Masquerade. I will be dancing to some good choons and dancing with some good peeps, so lots of drunken fun is to be had by all. I have been waiting for a good dance event for quite some time now.

Anyways, I am way too hyper to continue focusing on this blog entry, so I will talk to you bitches later.
