Before I get to post about my wonderful weekend, it will be a whole new weekend. I have been super busy lately, with work and all sorts of other things. Friday was very nice. I drove to my parents' house this morning to see her for Mother's Day. We went to go see my little cousin since we couldn't make it to her birthday party. She liked all of her presents and had a really pretty cake! So cute!

So it appears I won't be homeless in May after all!! I paid my deposit this morning for a fabulous one bedroom apartment on New Garden Road in Greensboro. This weekend, my grandparents and my aunt are at my parents'house AND I GET TO GO HOME AND SEE THEM!!I usually only see them about 3 times a year, so this is a rare but good occurence. Jason and I went to visit his best man and his brother tonight. They are also college students, home for the break just like we are. Jake, the BM, goes to college in FL, so we only see him about 4 times a year. I miss him, as he is a close/long time friend of mine as well. Well, I drove the four hours today to come home- and I can't wait to eat all that food and see all those relatives I never get to see. My aunt is a teacher at Farmer Elementary found out about two weeks ago that she had stage 4 colon cancer, which is spead to her liver. I would have said something earlier, but she wanted the family to wait until she told her daughter to tell anyone else ( Read more... )

Well, Jason and I hatched a plan a few days ago. We are getting our parents together to eat dinner this weekend. Our parents had only met a few times, but never really spent a large amount of time together. Now that we're engaged, I think they need to get to know each other.
