St.Patrick's Day fun - a week early
Yesterday (Sunday) my roommate Val and I went to the Sonora Celtic Faire. Lots of Ren Faire garb. Irish and Scots costumes of varying periods and authenticity. Men in kilts! I especially liked the young guys in kilts and band t-shirts. Fabulous music! I saw/heard my all-time favorite bands -the Wicked Tinkers AND Golden Bough - in one day! Also saw/heard Blackeyed Dempseys and 1916. Had loud bagpipes and electric bango music ringing in my ears all evening. Kinda hard to get to sleep but worth it. I'd never heard of whisky lemonade. Didn't try it. Sorry about that now.
