Typically, she was awkward to the end, and her blood pressure was so low that she had to be sedated before the final injection, so the vet could go into a vein in her abdomen - and her wonderful light green eyes never closed during the whole process. Off this morning to take Kurt to the vet to have his teeth fixed. Draco went along in the back of the car so that we could turn up the road into Roding Meadows to give him his walk.

Roding Meadows is one of the few places in England still managed in a totally traditional fashion. The Longhorn cattle had been turned out into the meadows...

Today we took six cats and a dog to the 'Animal Country Club' prior to the arrival of the new boiler and total chaos. Not that the house isn't already in total chaos. We are going to have to get up very early tomorrow morning, and, even then, we may be running round in circles at the behest of our plumber. The place is a tip. And yet we have ( Read more... )

is not easy. You have to take a lot of shots to get one really good one. They move, they hiss, they turn away as soon as you get out the camera. However, sometimes they pose perfectly. As did Flash.
