Heechul meets up with Sungmin later on that day for lunch.  The route he takes to get from the bookstore to their luncheon place is a short but relaxing walk and Heechul loves walking that way, but he doesn’t get to take it too often because the condo is the opposite direction from work.

( Hangeng laughs now -- a carefree, tinkling laugh and Heechul relishes the moment, so refreshing to his morning, it makes him feel a decade younger. )

Heechul can’t remember when it was exactly. He can’t remember which moment it was, but the warm flush in his cheeks when he thinks about it and the way his heart beats faster makes him remember slightly how the weather must have been at the time.  Or the way they looked at each other, or the words they spoke. Or the words they hadn’t spoken at all.
