***FOODIES***
Spontaneous trail mix from stuff I had at home = pistachios (pre-shelled), dried cranberries (craisins), and Halloween M&M's. Nom nom nom.

Day 1 of today's work week is halfway over. I am a quarter of the way through my work week. Yay for 3 days of vacation! And yay for going home for nummy foods. And yay for having leftover Grilled Eggplant Sandwich for lunch.

Tonight I'm thawing out some of my dad's chili for Shawn and I, to have with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped lettuce, and onion (if he wants it... I don't). And finishing up the beer in my fridge, haha. This is will also be nom nom nom.

***MOMENT OF MUSHINESS***
I'm still laughing about the antics from Saturday night. I really do appreciate my friends these days (as someone else mentioned in a related thread on one of the other's LJ). When I moved to Seattle 2 years ago, I knew literally NO one. Except the people I worked with *snore*. Then suddenly, friends from college started moving to the area, or we reconnected, and then I found friends through lj-seattle, and now I have like 50 friends that are awesome, beautiful, happy, passionate, environmentally-conscious, intelligent people in my life. Even those that aren't in this immediate area code are still great people to read about their lives. I still need to meet cool people like Fieria at her happy hours, but I'm happy to be in this big exciting city with lovely, exciting people. You are exciting to me, whether you're getting married, spent a weekend away with someone, baked something, or read an interesting book.

Um, just want to let you all know I ♥ You. Must get sappy sometimes! YOU are what I'm thankful for this Thursday. Just so's you know, k?

***UPCOMING EVENTS***
Shawn, Gretchen (probably Eric) and I are going to see the Burning Hearts Burlesque holiday show, themed "Naughty or Nice!" I know that notlostonme wants to come (bring the man??). We're going to the one in West Seattle at the Admiral Twin Theater. $15 a person! Need to get advance tickets, though, so decide soon!
