OMG, wow, you guys. So many good times were had last night with LJ-friends!!! 'Twas a party to commemorate the visit of whoopseedaisy, my new friend, who is gorgeous, very tall, and stacked like whoa. It was quite an epic good time (probably not quite up to the caliber of notlostonme's birthday party, which I sadly missed, but this one rocked MY socks), and so naturally, I got pictures! Let me show you them.

The night started off so calmly, at The Bus Stop with Meris, Theo (gaelfarce), Mardi (electriclime), and Stephen, (youngmrstephen).

Shawn wants to go to the Lesbian Dance Night sometime, haha. We also saw the drag queen pictured in the middle at Pony, the gay bar, earlier in the night. I told Shawn I thought he got some LOOKS there, haha.
And there's a great one that Gillian took of me here, and apparently other people think so too! I should have done a before and after shot, because I schlumped around in a University of London sweatshirt and let my hair air dry, until it was time to get ready. And then, voila! I tried to be pretty for last night, but really, I think the whole thing came from the glow I got being out with my guy.
And then there's this one from the beginning of the night. Yes, my eye is doing something wonky because I was trying to raise my eyebrow. :P

Great fucking time, ya'll! I would definitely go back for Frankenboot again, the DJ Freddy was, as promised, excellent!!! Shawn and I should have danced more, but we definitely spent about 15 min. on the dance floor that was SO much fun!!! Thanks to Mardi for inviting us!! Oh my, way too many exclamation points in this paragraph.
So, speaking of my man, I took him to the Seattle Food & Wine Show today. Although he wasn't really enthralled with it, as he was a wee bit hungover (this was why I wanted to go YESTERDAY, silly!), we meandered over to the Christmas Gift Show, and he literally walked the WHOLE THING with me without complaining. This guy is one tough cookie, I tells ya. Although he definitely reminded me of my dad, when my mom drags him around on some marathon shopping event, and he kinda sticks his hands in his pockets and gazes at the ceiling and thinking "god, she's been deciding between two of these knick-knacks for 10 minutes, and they look exactly the same, and it's for someone else so I'm not really caring, but it's my job to be here and keep my mouth shut until my opinion is asked for, at which point I'll tell her either one is FINE, really, and then we'll move on to the next booth and go through this over again, and there's no place to sit down, so I'll just keep standing here and looking like all the ceiling lights shining down on the sparkly tons of jewelry in this place is NOT giving me a headache, and then- oh. She needs my opinon now."
But Shawn really did give me a wonderful day by going with me, and bought me some room fragrance sticks, because the vendor said "everything is $10 for the next 10 minutes! It's on sale because I'm too fat and lazy to carry it all back to the office, so I want to sell it!" We thought that was the best sales pitch ever (he said it with quite a bit of panache), so Shawn bought me TWO, a lavender one and a cucumber-melon one. He also was astounded at the number of people who commented on my perfume necklace (at least 6, I lost track after that). I got some Christmas presents checked off the list, and I really want to go back for the Food & Wine Show again sometime, preferably with someone who isn't in desperate need of the "hair of the dog." And I got a thing to remove facial hair, hahaha. Then we had a late lunch/early dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. A lovely day to end a wonderful weekend!!
And here, I haven't posted a sunset in a while. They are few and far between with the winter weather, so this one was from a couple of weeks ago.
Okay, sorry for the epic Photo!Blog post. But it was SO worth it.
