lunch plan.

oil a frying pan, brown some beef stew meat with basil, pepper, some red pepper flakes or Tony's. throw it into the pressure cooker with carrots, garlic and red wine, pressure cook it at its peak heat for about 10 minutes. While that's going on, use the same frying pan to saute sliced potatoes, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper. bring it to a desired crispness, then set it aside. When the pressure cooker is done, release pressure, remove lid. Toss in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil without the lid, then simmer. throw in a smaaaaaall amount of corn starch to thicken the whole business up into more of a stew (small because the potatoes will also add to starchy sort of flavor and esp. for leftovers you don't want it to turn from starchy beef stew to potato soup that happens to have other crap in it).

have to wash a couple of pans before the plan goes into action, but that's okay. it's also a cleaning day. and then i have left overs for tomorrow. yum yum.
