Today my brain had a complete overload. And surprisingly enough, it had nothing to do with academics. Rather, it was brought on by a series of improbable coincidences that culminated in the most interesting 10 seconds I've experienced in a while. Information overload. Wow.

Here it is, finally: an update from MIT...with pictures!

I arrived last Saturday and moved into my temporary room. I have been very busy with orientation-related activities. In precisely 2 weeks, I will be in  Boston, sleeping in a hotel room, anxiously trying to sleep before I go check in at MIT the next morning. 2 weeks. 'Tis absolutely insane! Well, I'm currently celebrating because my new computer came this week!! 'Tis a shiny new MacBook (white) with a 2gHz processor. Very pretty, very easy to set up. And it works very nicely, even though the FedEx guy DROPPED the package when I went to go pick it up...

Because it's Intel-based, I can install Windows on it, thus I can then  access any ( Read more... )

32 days 'til Orientation!

Other good news: my computer finally shipped today!!!!!!! Hopefully it will arrive this week... :)

I'm done with my MIT stuff!!! (at least the stuff for the June deadline).

Mr. Shirley was awesome at the Shakespeare in the Park thing. They must have done type-casting. :)

I had a fun evening, but I can't believe Maureen is moving in a week... (Maureen, I won't allow it!) ;)

My job is awesome! I'd say more, but I need sleep, so that will wait.'

Today was the last friday that I will ever have to attend high school. Of course, I'll probably go next friday to see AP English 11 put on their play, but that's not the point.
