It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
Well, today was rather productive. I got up early to go to church for portrayal rehearsal. In the afternoon, I braved the crowds to go Christmas shopping. Gah, traffic was horrible. And I had to search several stores to find what I was looking for. Then, to make things even more fun, at each one I (with my one item to purchase) was forced to wait in long lines behind people with piled shopping cart loads. The most wonderful time of the year indeed... However, I suppose it was worth it because my trip was successful and I am nearly done with my Christmas shopping.
In the evening, I assisted my dad in the yearly battle with the Christmas lights. We won, and there are now many strands of pretty colored lights on our tree, each one fully functional. I like Christmas lights. So, we seem to be mostly ready for Christmas. All we need now are the Christmas cookies...
I'm experimenting with images, so I want to share a picture of my MIT acceptance letter. Yes, it really did come in the cardboard tube. :)
