I got accepted to MIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The acceptance letter amuses me. MIT sent acceptance letters in 2 foot long mailing tubes rather than envelopes. The tube also contained a poster, a magnet, another letter, and confetti. :) Oh, and one of the letters had a little handwritten note on the bottom about how the admissions person really liked my essay. That was pretty cool.
So, I am quite ecstatic at the moment. I must admit that I was surprised that I got in early, since only 12% of the early applicants were accepted. However, I am just really happy!
MIT is still my first choice, but I'm not feeling ready to make a final decision, so I'm not going to decide for sure for a while. However, it's nice because there's now a lot less stress.
