Okay, so I'm in the mall yesterday, there mostly to visit former co-workers and friends, and I wander into the mall's bookstore. I'll admit it, I'm a book junkie. More specifically, a science fiction and fantasy junkie, since I normally head for that section and the manga (kind of hard not to go to both at the same time since B. Dalton and Border's each have their manga and sci-fi/fantasy sections practically right next door to each other). On the end of the sci-fi/fantasy shelf, I see a book that intrigues me. The Ghosts of Yesterday by Alan Dean Foster. Transfans will know of what I speak.
Anyway, instead of buying the book at B. Dalton's, I went over to Border's. I have that nifty little rewards card and I like using it. So I go there. I got the title wrong but I still ended up getting my book. I've multi-tasked since last night. Reading, playing on my computer, and watching movies. The book isn't that thick, since it's a prequel to the upcoming summer release to the new Transformers movie, but I think I'm doing very well. Now I just need to start on Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time saga. :P Now just to toss writing into the mix, and I'll really be multi-tasking! ^_^
As for the book, it's really interesting and two of my favourite characters are in action. I'm looking forward to the release of the movie. ^_^
