My Cat is Annoying

Mar 21, 2010 12:06

Toby you know you annoy me,

I know that you know that you do.

I swear that you do it on purpose,

One day I might come unglued.

You scratch on the door all morning,

To wake me from peaceful sleep.

You keep me from being well-rested,

I hope that you’re happy, you creep.

Is there no other way to enjoyment,

Than laughing at my expense?

I know I’m too slow to catch you,

But it really doesn’t make sense.

Have you nothing better to do,

Than spend your life harassing

Poor innocent owner lady

Who was just quietly passing?

Oh, no you must slice my ankles,

With your long and vicious claws

When I see you sitting there sweetly

I know then I must give pause.

I know to tread most carefully,

And watch out for all of your tricks,

For you can kill quite gracefully

To you it is easy as giving licks.

When I see you sitting there innocently,

It is a sure sign of attack.

I would turn and run away,

But I know you’d latch onto my back.

Like a cunning wild Tiger,

You have a hunter’s heart.

I suppose I must forgive you,

I can’t hate you for being smart.
