Writing, what is this 'writing' you speak of? Or that's how I feel today, anyway. No writing at all has happened yet, not even the work stuff. Though I have gotten further on getting the new laptop up to speed for work. And I got the frock coat done except for the buttons & buttonholes. The coat for Gallifrey is coming along. Today I got about three-quarters of the principal construction done. Need to apply the hem-facing and attach the skirts to the body, then do the button holes & handwork.

Tomorrow I have to do work-work too. Where did the time go?

I got nothing done today, it seems like. Household meeting today, and I got the last major seam sewn on my entirely hand-made 15th century shift. Still have to stitch down the seam allowances, and finish the neckline and the hem. But actual progress on the thing. I am hoping to have it and a new kirtle/cote made for Investiture ( Read more... )

Tiny bit of writing on the piece with Auberus. Had ideas bubbling nicely all day, until I got a phone call that managed to completely derail my brain into meepishness.
