Today was every flavour of madness. Experiment going crazy, buses going crazy because the city as a whole
is going crazy and such....
I have nothing to worry about this time since both us and our rivals are out of the race, and, man, I needed that. After last year's victory and all the celebrations and such, it's gonna be funny to give just half a shit about everything going on and just enjoy the days of the feast without a worry.
I wanna say something about a discussion stemmed from the always awesome
harriet_yuuko, about fandom and the ease with wich it choses to discriminate on the base of preferences while claiming to so open minded and acceptent, but I've kind of lost the trail of my own thoughts. So you'd be spared of my babbles, this time.
Read the steaming piece of crap that is Rise of Arsenal #1-4 and I'm torn between pity, lulz and despair. Number one wasn't that bad, I liked some scenes and it delivered some genuine emotions; number two started to piss me off with the overdramaticity, the gore, the bad names shouted out and such. Number three is awesomely ridicolous and gross like you have no idea, and number four felt empty and so stuffed up with rethoric rage and revengespeechs and gross details we could do without I wasn't really able to feel anything at all. In the end, it had the balsamic effect of severing all the emotional attachment I had to the character that was supposed to be featured in this epic pile of mess (supposed, because I'm kind of sure that guy there isn't Roy...) and judging from what is happening to him, that's a good thing for sure.
Read also Red Hood: Lost Days#1 and loved it. I really like the rendition of Ras' and Talia, and Jason was cute. Looking forward to the next bit. =)
Everything else can go screw, even though, seems like a little light can come from X-Factor, I kind of.. do not want to touch that I'm scared. ° °
Gotta go now. <3
