I completely forgot to mention that for my birthday Dylan's mom bought me a
Brother CE4000 sewing machine! I have not been able to get out to the fabric store to pick up supplies for any projects yet. Who knows how badly I will mess up my first few projects I attempt to do on my own. Growing acustom to having an experienced seamstress over my shoulder kind of spoiled me. I am so excited to start gathering up patterns and fabric! I have NO CLUE where I am going to put any of it though. Living in this tiny house is really getting to me.
Tomorrow I start watching my friends 3 year old daughter Moira for the week, and then again Monday and Tuesday of next week. She is a really great kid, and she ADORES Layne. She has a sibling on the way, and when asked if she wants a brother or sister, she always replies that she wants Layne! haha If Layne takes well to having another kid around during the day I think I might try to find a kid to watch via craigslist. I would definitely need to get a different vehicle if I do persue that route. My civic can barely fit MY kids, let alone a third. Being home all week long with three kids might very drive me to pull all of my hair out.
Speaking of childcare, I am on a desperate search of childcare for the kids when we go to NY/NJ. Looks like we are going to need to find someone to watch them June 7th and 8th from around 9am to 7pm both days. I was going to post an ad on craigslist, but I am terrified of leaving them with someone I do not know. Interviews can only tell you so much about a person. I've been racking my brain trying to think of anyone who might be able to do it for just those two days. My aunt likely could since her class will be off for summer break. She lives two hours away though and the kids are not as familar with my family down there. Atleast not well enough to leave them down there without me with them. I can only imagine how horrified Mila would be of my absence. It will likely be bad enough with them staying at their grandparents.
