To those familar with the condition of my Civic, you will understand how excited I am to say this...
I got a new car!
My Civic was wrecked before we purchased it and fixing the damage would cost far more than it was worth. It drove perfectly fine, but driver side back was just mangled and missing it's tail light. Fixing it would have involved welding part of a another cars backend in its place. It suited our purpose for the last almost two years, when that was all we could afford. Then it's starter died and we recieved the wrong starter from the salvage yard 3 times. We really should have just bought a new one, but Dylan always managed to get the original one working again (atleast for awhile). It stranded me last week at the store and while we could just buy a new starter and I could keep driving it, we really needed a bigger car. So we sucked it up and found something better suited to our life.
So I introduce you to my new found soccer mom status.
My 96 Volvo 960 Wagon. It's my floating box. ;) We did not end up getting anything newer than what we had, but Volvo's are known for their safety and life span. Hopefully it will serve us well for awhile. We got a really good deal on it, so it will be easy to justify dropping money into it if need be.
