Yesterday afternoon I left work early for wedding errands. We got our Marriage License from the City Clerk's office, where I hopped up and down with excitement. Then we picked up our wedding bands (after paying the rest of the bill). We tried them on, and they're comfy. Plain and comfortable. I'll post a picture ( Read more... )

Oh God. So freaking busy. Making costumes for Victory--which is going very well, but I'm spending so much time in Chicago 120 breathing paint fumes and staring at designs by Malevich, it may drive me insane.

Last week I brought my typewriter up from the basement and started writing a new short story. Haven't worked on it for a couple of days, but I keep looking at the page there and thinking about it.

Just read the first chapter of  Мы by Zamyatin. It's working pretty well so far. Probably a good idea to read something that I've already read in English ( Read more... )
