This is a message for all those who have now or ever served on the Adventurers.
I am honoured to have been able to serve you all as your Captain, and to have known you all and seen what truly wonderful, brave and dedicated men and women you all are, without exception. At times there have been dangers, there have been hardships, and there have been tragedies both professional and private that we have all stood and faced and endured together. I am proud to call each and every one of you my comrades, and my friends.
To my fellow Captains, Kiba and Locket: it has been a joy to work with you. I thank you, sincerely, for all your help and support. Your professionalism, your enthusiasm and your unwavering resolve has been invaluable. I wish you every success in all your future endeavours.
Some of you may be staying on here, others of you may choose to return to your homes. I must respectfully resign my position and number among the latter. It is not a decision that I have come to lightly.
I do not write to you now as Captain Target; I write to you as 1st Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye in the service of Colonel Roy Mustang the Flame Alchemist of the Amestrian Military, known to some of you as Snap. I write to you as a person with important work to do in my homeland that has gone interrupted for too long. I write to you as a different woman to the one who awoke in the hatchery in March of last year, bewildered and confused. I hope that all of you are aware of how much you have achieved and accomplished during your time here in Edensphere. I hope that wherever you go on to from here will find happiness and fulfillment. I hope you go on to lead long and full lives, you deserve every joy that will come from them.
Perhaps we do not know what awaits us, and we trip towards our futures with some small measure of uncertainty, but I believe that all of you have the courage and integrity to face whatever hurdles life may throw at you and overcome them all to face your triumph.
To all the denizens of Edensphere, it has been a privilege to serve you all.
