(no subject)
Nothing too exciting to update about, but I just thought I'd let everyone know I'm still alive out here. *waves*
Waiting on my Sims Online play test CD, which should be here in 7-10 business days. I hate waiting.
Going to Stomp with the fam this Sunday, looking forward to that. Missing out on ceramics with the girls, but ah well. I'm buying a celestial santa guy to paint on my own, which is fun.
Half way done my little wooden penguin guys. They look like a little black stealth army thing with dead staring green eyes. Kinda creepy. Now I get to make cute little felt toques and toothpick skiis and stuff, which will make them much less creepy and much more cute.
Lunch with J's mom this Saturday for her birthday (which was Oct. 18), and then dinner with my mom, because my dad has gone to Newfoundland to visit his mom for her birthday (89, I think) for a couple days. Mom doesn't ever go for some reason, not clear on that. My sister pays for the flight with air miles, so it's a little strange that Mom doesn't go with.
I get to leave work in 2 hours, because I'm going back over to head office for some cake in HR (birthday party for 3 HR people for the month of October), and then I get to go home, since there's no sense in coming back for a maximun of half an hour (says the person I'm working for...whee!). Unfortunately I have to stay late tomorrow to make up for it, but that's okay.
Off to do more work, lunch break is pretty much done. Working at the TEC management office for this week and last (after only 3 hours worth of training). It's busier here than most other assignments I've had, and I'm kinda glad I'm going to HR next week for 3 weeks. It's a pain that I'm almost getting the hang of it and then leaving in 2 days, but such is my working life. Much to do before leaving today.
