AUTHOR's NOTE: this was written rather quickly during a bout of insomnia so the actual quality may be....you know. feel free to point out any noticed mistakes.
"Jiyong....what the hell are you doing?"
A hand was waved nonchalantly in Seunghyun's general direction and the strange looks Jiyong received from his supposed 'close friends' were met with a sigh of frustration.
"What's it look like I'm doing? I'm collecting sand."
Youngbae was quick to restrain Seunghyun and save Jiyong from a beating he didn't see coming. They had been ready to leave the beach over an hour ago but someone was too busy frolicking to and fro, doing...well, that part no one had quite figured out yet. A gentle smile graced Youngbae's features as he knelt down next to his best friend, eyes looking between the sand being shoveled into a random coke bottle and the small pile of sea shells off to the side.
"Why are you collecting sand and" he picked up a medium sized shell to examine with a raised eyebrow, only to drop it two seconds later once the antennae of the snail inhabitant popped out, "...seashells is what hyung meant to ask."
"It's for Ri, you wouldn't understand"
A knowing glance passed between Youngbae and Seunghyun. Sand? For Seungri? Had there been something else in those cigarettes he'd smoked earlier? There was no way this would go over as well as Jiyong had apparently imagined it to when he thought up this 'brilliant' plan. It wasn't even a decorative bottle like they sold in souvenir shops for way more than any sane person should be willing to pay for sand of all things. While Seunghyun was quick to smirk in amusement then offer a helping hand, clearly picturing the possible outcomes of this gift giving venture that all ended with an annoyed maknae and a shunned leader, Youngbae was, as usual, the voice of reason.
"Maybe we should stop at a few shops before we leave tomorrow..."

When Seungri finally returned home to the dorm, he didn't bother announcing his presence and immediately flopped down on the couch. The trip home for the holiday had been nice and his mom had fed him enough that he just knew Hwangssabu would be able to look at him and instantly know about all the meals and midnight snacks. But home cooked food was always worth the extra treadmill sessions that would be forced upon him.
Not even two minutes later he felt the weight of someone on his chest and was about to swat out a hand to smack his touchy hyung but the lick to his cheek stopped him in his tracks. He prayed that it wasn't Jiyong because quite frankly, he wasn't in the mood to try some new kinky shit Jiyong had probably read about on the internet.
An eye cracked open and Seungri could honestly say for the first time ever he was relieved to find Gaho staring back at him. That moment was short lived, however, and Seungri was soon trying his best to move the monster of a dog off of him.
"Ugh, Gaho. Move. You're not even supposed to like me. Can't you go find a pair of Jiyong's shoes to slobber all over instead? Like those hideous bright yellow ones."
"That's Jiyong-hyung to you, brat, and if I so much as find a single drop of doggie drool on any of my shoes, I'm kicking your ass. And I'll have you know those 'hideous bright yellow ones' are a limited edition! Only a thousand pairs were made."
"That's one thousand too many."
It only took a matter of seconds for Jiyong to take Gaho's spot, smacking Seungri over the head in the process and although Seungri knew resistance was futile, he flailed and made a fuss anyway.
"It's not my fault that after all these years you still haven't picked up the tiniest shred of fashion sense from me. Stop moving around like you don't like it."
Seungri struggled a bit longer for the simple fact that that he'd just been told not to, almost successfully succeeding in having Jiyong land face first on the floor. Jiyong sensed a rather hard kick coming on and preemptively saved himself, making his way off the couch and heading towards his bedroom.
"Since I'm such a loving hyung that always takes care to never forget his dongsaengs, even the dumb ungrateful ones that constantly complain even though deep down they like it, I brought you a present."
Before the word 'present' was even finished being said, Seungri quickly headed down the hallway, standing anxiously in Jiyong's doorway with a smile. The smile soon faded once his eyes landed on the...present held out in Jiyong's hands. If it could even be called that.
"What is this?"
"Your present! A souvenir since you couldn't go to Jeju with us."
"It's sand."
"From the beach!"
"It's a bottle of sand."
"You couldn't go to the beach so I brought the beach to you. Look, there's even shells."
"That's not a beach. It's a bottle of sand. What am I supposed to do with this?"
"I don't know. Things. Stuff. Whatever."
Jiyong's shoulders lifted in a shrug and realization dawned on Seungri. It was suddenly all so clear. Past conversations and off-handed remarks flooded his memory. This cheeky bastard.
"No. Hell no. No way"
As Seungri shook his head and quickly turned to leave, Jiyong lifted a brow, confusion etched on his features as he followed after his retreating roommate.
"What in the world...."
"Look. I know you've always wanted to fuck on the beach but if this is your idea of an alternative? Then no. Hell no. Do you have any idea how long it'll take to get sand out of the sheets? And no matter how hard we try to clean we'll be finding it everywhere for weeks. It's almost as bad as glitter and you know what a pain glitter is."
When Seungri finished talking and turned around, Jiyong was a lot closer than expected with an all-too familiar expression. And was that a hand snaking across his....oh. Alright. So maybe the glitter hadn't been that bad.

It was another day of work in the studio and Seungri had once again been given the dear honor of getting everyone's lunch from the cafeteria, despite his complaints and protests. Once Youngbae joined in the obvious tirade against him, he knew he was done for and stomped out of the studio with a reminder that it was never a good idea to piss off the ones in charge of handling their food. The reminder was duly noted and quickly ignored.
A few minutes passed and Seunghyun was first to break the comfortable silence.
"So, uh, how did Ri enjoy the 'beach'?"
Jiyong raised an eyebrow while Youngbae looked towards Seunghyun from behind Jiyong, quickly shaking his head and mouthing a big 'NO'.
"Hmmm?"
"The take home beach you were so diligently working on that made us almost two hours late for dinner back at Jeju. Did you even give it to him? Did he enjoy it?"
Youngbae immediately groaned and hid his head in his arms, already knowing exactly what Jiyong's face probably looked like.
"Why yes, hyung. I gave it to him, and yes, he enjoyed it. Thoroughly, if I say so myself. All. Night. Long."
The look on Seunghyun's face was a mix of shock, regret and shame.
"You sick pervert, we're about to eat. How am I supposed to enjoy my ice cream now?"
"I tried to warn you," came the muffled reply from Youngbae's corner of the room, "you're just lucky you don't live above them anymore."
