Because LJ has more of an older, more mature set of writers I suppose. After all, a lot of people are on LJ to get AWAY from FF.Net. Can't say that I'm there as much since I joined LJ again. I feel like I just get a better response. I never get a comment like: "ooh update soon" or something bland like that. People usually at least have something to say.

Or they say nothing. :P I guess that's fine too.

True! I think I came over to LJ to get away from FFN so I guess that makes sense. And I pretty much almost never post there. I actually did post Trying over there, though I originally didn't plan to. But someone sort of asked me to post it at FFN so I decided to oblige.

And yes, I definitely think the FEEDBACK on LJ is pretty much 1000x more gratifying even if it isn't as large of a response? Though, the HA! fandom on FFN that review stories are not awful. I just think a lot of the actual stories coming out of FFN are... boring and cliche. I am so sick of regular Highschool fic - TAKE THE CHARACTERS ON AN ADVENTURE! I LOVE ADVENTURES!

I visit FF.Net once in awhile, but I don't look in the HA! section if I want some HA! stuff, because the writers there have been writing the same plots since, uh, EVER. High school AUs, "HELGA LOVES ARNOLD WILL ARNOLD EVER LOVE HER BACK (the answer is always yes)," awful stories that turn Helga into a pushover or an abused girlfriend of some jerk boyfriend, or other half-assed plots.

D: IT REALLY IS. It's ridiculous. I stopped counting how many stories revolve around that. Fandom: sometimes we want to read about other characters.

Well, with Trying, I get that Arnold does know about Helga's feelings and maybe he feels something for her, but the plot itself brings out those issues between them rather than the UNREQUITED LOVE OR IS IT? factor be the only thing in the story. And YES, LOTS OF GUNS. XD

Yeah, I don't mind the idea that Arnold and the cast move onto high school, but it's so boring when nobody adds anything different to the plot. Yes, they're in high school, but it'd be nice to see them do other things that aren't related to dances or gossip/rumors or the likes of that. (Also, I was more than happy to leave high school so the last thing I wanna do is read about it. xD ( ... )

So the HA! forum I have been hanging out did a survey thing and one of the questions asked about people's favorite HA! fics and quite a few people said Trying and then I cried rivers of JOY.

What I am saying is: I LOVE THAT YOU LOVE TRYING OMG! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

I didn't know it updated either! I went and clicked on the adventure genre at FFN and it showed up pretty close to the top of the page and I was like "Huh." and then I checked the date on it and AUGH CHAPTER 6 FROM THIS YEAR YESSSSSS.

I feel like a lot of people must not have gotten notifications because there was only one review for Chapter 6! D: I left another because SO AWESOME OMG.

And yes, I also reread Hot Air and Missing Pieces ALL THE GODDAMN TIME. I definitely wanna go back through Hot Air again soon.

God, I would loooooove to see you write an epic adventure fic. I WOULD EAT THAT SHIT UP.
