'Wow', said Death. 'What a big watermelon'!

I'm excited! I'm going down to the farm on monday to help my uncle plow and seed his crop. It shouldn't be too hard because its the same tractor I used during harvest. I just came back from Kojonup and Esperance last week, but in my opinion one can never spend too much time in the country. The thought of this farm visit will be the only thing to sustain me through the horror that is the MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND!!! (cue ominous music and spooky voice). Don't get me wrong, I love my Mum, but shes one hell of an intense and difficult woman. Plus I don't know what to get her :S

Friday is going to be interesting.. I've been so busy this week with medical things that it feels like I havn't done much else. (I've seen many doctors, been stuck by pointy things and been told off by my endocrinologist for having low blood pressure (70/60). Like I did it on purpose!) Anyway, my uncle is taking me to see this printing business that he has shares in. We get a nice tour, and if i like it, maybe a job aswell. After that im going to meet with Clare to read the bible, then head off to dinner with the girls.

My life is generally going ok. I've started on thyroxine and now have a bit of energy. I might even have my metabolism back in a few months :) Unfortunally my other Doc has upped my night meds, so the zonking effect of those has cancelled out the thyroxine. Ive taken to going for walks in Karrakatta during the evenings. Although last week I walked to the end of Smyth to have a look at a South American tree and got lost in the graveyard on the way back. I had never realised how dark it can get in there.

Regarding realationships I am thankfully single. My ex has finally decided to stop text harrassing me, and just left me with a shot about how much hotter the new girl(s) are compared to me. Whoever said that parting was such sweet sorrow had obviously never met my ex!

In other news, our new cat Isabel caught a dove and ate it under our kitchen table. An appropriate 10 Things I hate About You quote would be she 'ate everything but the beak and the feet'. I think this quote applies well to the remains that we found.

Well ttfn!
