I never thought I'd say this but... the Manics are coming back to Toronto! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw they were coming back to North America at all. And while they play Detroit on October 2 and New York on October 7, it was only a matter of time for them to sandwich in a Toronto date. Seeing Cut Copy the other night was potentially the last concert I have for 2008, unless I win the lottery. I can't complain though. This year I've seen many of the bands I've been cranking incessantly. Or at least the ones it's still humanly possible to see. I'm impressed.

I've just secured a flight to Baltimore next week. On the itinerary thus far:
- spending every waking moment with Jeanie
- avoiding her pets lacking fur
- refrain singing songs from Hairspray
- seeing Washington D.C.
- going to the zoo
- going to the Smithsonian
- doing other Americany things
- seeing Kix in concert (eee)
