I'm seeing the Manic Street Preachers tonight. Listening to Forever Delayed in the shower this morning got me pumped. It's only starting to sink in now.
I'm pretty envious of all of your stories so far, of your own experiences of the show, and meeting them. I don't mean to sound like a jaded, worn out fan, but I wish meeting my favourite band of all time was a more meaningful experience. I was 16 and tremendously excited, so I ended up blurting out questions about misheard lyrics and requests for kisses. Mind you, adolescence was the absolute height of my love for this band so it made the experience more memorable. I was completely impassioned by them. It made it all so hectic, however. Planning my costume, buying gifts, skipping school to see them at MuchMusic, following them to The Edge, setting up camp at 10am for front row, crying like a baby when my camera died... thankfully we met them multiple times and they liked our presents. I think. Haha. It's such a treasured memory and I hope tonight will be anywhere near to comparable. My camera is at full charge, and so will my eyeliner.
