No, seriously, why is it so obvious for others that there won't be any alternative candidates, and hence choice, at the presidential elections in Russia? Why has it been already decided that Mr. Putin will implicitly become a next nation's leader? Why are Russians treated like the sheep flock that doesn't have neither will nor guts to go against the existing order of things?
I cite from today's The New York Times: "...Mr. Medvedev, who is to become prime minister next year in a leadership swap with Vladimir V. Putin."
Hello! I might sound naive, but let the US us decide what kind of swap and in what manner will take place in the future. Or are we a generation that accumulated the biggest number of fortune-tellers per capita????
