Yesterday I had a relative reach out to me to ask if I wouldn't mind picking him something up to eat. I didn't mind but I was slightly concerned about how he sounded on the phone. Since it is Thanksgiving, I am happy that family decided to get together via Zoom. I think it's the first time we've gotten together since the passing and burial of my grand-aunt and grand-uncle earlier this year from COVID19. It just seemed that maybe after that two weeks from the burial we stopped talking to each other.

At work we've been in an understandable holding pattern. We were supposed to be allowed to return to the worksite on the 6th, however due to Governor Cooper's continuation of Phase 2 that did not happen. Yesterday was a dark day for me. The night before last night I found out one of my aunts (maternal grandfather's sister) had passed away from COVID-19 complications. Then by morning I found out that another aunt (paternal grandmother's sister) also passed away. Although it was from not being able to make it through surgery (non-COVID-19).

It's coming up this week being at home/working from home since March 23rd 2020. I figured I'd start keeping track of my thoughts and activities during this COVID-19 event.
