So a lot of things happened between January and now so I think now is a good time as ever to jump into catching up on my journaling.
We had a new boss at my job but then they were gone in literally 2 weeks. I found that very odd but the show must keep going on. We also have another new boss (higher up) so looking forward to seeing what happens in the future as I think they will be a part of the hiring of the more...immediate boss for the area I work in.
I'm doing good in my classes, I'm taking yet another full load with two 8 week courses at that. At first I was struggling to keep up in my current 2nd of the two 8 week courses but I know how I can take time to study. I want to finish the semester out strong you know?
My acting opportunities are growing and I am taking advantage of things on and off campus. So far I've done two "online" productions via Discord and Zoom. The first was that murder mystery Twitch stream back in January and in March I did a 5 minute comedy skit. I also got a chance to be an extra for a short film for a friend which was in the "slice of life" style genre.
At university I am taking Acting II and I'm doing well in it. Another course is having their students put on 20 minute 1 Act plays and so I was asked if I could do that. I'll definitely be dedicating time this weekend to practicing my lines as the day of the filming is this Wednesday. I've also got word that the professor will open Acting III which is Shakespeare and Greek plays in the fall. My advisor let me know that after my two classes in the summer (one being my senior capstone), I would only need one class to graduate. In that case, I would love for my final class to be something that I enjoy.
