Well, today I got off work early since it was critique day and only four people showed up and 3 presented their works in progress. From what I was told, there's about 7 people in the class total, maybe more, and 3 ppl. in my Tuesday morning class (including the TA) are all taking that class. At least things were better than expected in class. I even got to do some of my homework while waiting for the rest of the class to show up.
Otherwise, I'm still not feeling well, and I'm kinda unsure if I want to go to class today. As soon as I finish this entry, I'm gonna get ready to leave for class. Normally, every Mondays and Wednesdays I get to sleep in as soon as I take my parents to the bus stop first thing in the morning. It didn't help that I ended up going to bed a little after 4 A.M. and having a small breakfast before leaving for work. Normally I skip breakfast and I won't even eat anything until after 1 or so. I'm also feeling all jittery since I had coffee. I need to get used to the new sleep pattern, work schedule, not being able to sleep in until 10 and everything.
As soon as I got home, I stumbled onto an article about college students and trash.
Trash: Much Left Behind At Colleges This reminds me so much of my UCR days. I still remember the mini landfill at Grand Marc's dumpster, especially towards the end of the school year. I remember snagging a few magazines that were left behind there. I remember reading a post at
ucr a while back where someone found a nice newish computer near the dumpster, and it had someone's porn, papers from an English 1C class, and so on. I also remember the piles of trash near the trash shutes of (West) Lothian, my old dorm. Ahhhhhhh... these were the days of college. As for me, I had so much crap at either my dorm or apartment than when I first moved into either places, yet I managed to fit them all into 1 or 2 cars when I moved back home w/o having to throw everything away nor give them away.
Well, I'm gonna get some lunch before I leave for class. Hopefully I'll feel better by then. In the meantime, I'll leave you w/ some Dayton Bomber Spam. I'll explain more under the cut. Till then, have a wonderful day.
Ever since the Ice Dogs' season came to an end, I pretty much gave up on the ECHL, and I didn't really bother to get into the ECHL playoffs. However, thanx to a video I saw on Youtube while looking through ECHL related commericals, I had a change of heart. As ridiculous as it sounds, a new hockey crush, Yannick Tifu, came by and the video was so hilarious that I decided to get back into the ECHL playoffs and root for the Dayton Bombers, even if they beat the Cyclones in game 7. Also, Doups plays for the Bombers which also explains why I'm rooting for them. :P

Also, some Yannick Tifu spam if anyone is interested...
No pic spam is complete w/o Doups and his Playoff Beardness Love...
I'll never forget the days when he had the blond hair and beard combo, especially during last year's Memorial Cup run. The more I miss last year's Wildcats.
See what I mean? These were the good ol' days!
