This weekend has been off to a good start.
Originally, I was supposed to take a trip to Riverside for Spring Splash, but Nommie had to work plus I wasn't in any mood to going since 1) I haven't been listening to Sugarcult that much lately and I'll feel lost while watching their set, 2) I don't like the line up, and especially having it mixed w/ a hip hop act (Fabolous was headlining), 3) bad experience ranging from the hip hop fans to basically getting screwed up by people. Just be lucky that I'm a nice person and I didn't get homicidal on anyone.
So I ended up helping out at Family Fun Fest today. I had to run the SRB 100th Anniversary booth. Aside from selling t-shirts, cds made by the church choirs, and other stuff, there was a box full of cds & some dvds that once belonged to Fr. Lawrence. Since his family didn't want to take them, we ended up selling his cd & dvd collections, and all proceeds went towards his scholarship fundation. I couldn't stop browsing through the cds and I even chatted w/ Jean, another lady who was running the booth, about music and stuff. I ended up getting $12 worth of cds (the cds were $3 each). Among his cd collections, he had everything ranging from classical music, 80's pop, old school hip hop, and get this even punk rock. He had The Sex Pistols, The Clash, lots of Devo, Adam & The Ants, The Cure, X, and this takes the cake... THE SMITHS!!!! He had several Smiths albums!!! I ended up getting 2 of the Smiths cds since I already have some of the others. I may go back later today and claim the Cure & Sex Pistols cds, if they are still around. This is one of many reasons why Fr. Lawrence is awesome!!! The more I miss him. :*(
As far as hockey goes... I had to miss most of Game 5 of the Sens/Sabres series, but I'd constantly check my phone for the scores. I wanted to scream so loud when the Sens won, but I couldn't do that in the booth. I'd get weird looks from everyone, so I'll just do it here now... Beware of massive spazzing...

Although you had to beat my poor Pens boys in the 1st round, you redeemed yourselves by winning the rest of the way. Anyways, best wishes and best of luck!!!
LUV ALWAYS,
MOI
Dear Sabres,
I'm sorry if you lost. I thought you'd own this series all the way. In all, you had a fantabulous season. Even if you would've won this series, I'd been rooting for you in the Cup finals. Alrighty, best wishes and best of luck next season. Enjoy your off season.
Luv,
Moi
Dear Lewiston,
Nice win!!! Thank you so much for winning and making my day! I am ever so proud of you! GO LEWISTON GO!!!
Luv,
Moi
I just want to congratulate Ice, Roccobear & All Sens fans for winning today and making it to their first Cup Finals (in like 100+ or so year if you count the very original Sens). I am ever so proud of you. Anyways, best wishes and best of luck in the Cup Finals!
As for the Red Wings/Ducks series, although I'm leaning towards having the Red Wings going to the Cup Finals, my greedy side of me wants the Ducks to win the rest of the way so that I can go to the Cup Finals and cheer for the Sens all the way. I hate to say it but GO DUCKS GO!!! I need to go see the Sens live!!! Sorry Red Wings...
In honor for the Sens & Lewiston winning, my Build A Bear Friends threw a lil drunken party to celebrate. They want to give Ice & Roccobear a toast & congratulate them for their win...
The bears, pets & my Corvo jersey, since I don't have anything Sens related. The Corvo jersey is the closest thing I have, eventhough it's a Kings jersey.

Next week, I'll be going to Scotsdale for the Memorial Day Weekend Hockey Tournament. Nommie will be playing hockey there w/ the Riverside Turkey Shooters. I so cannot wait! However, Bettie (my computer) won't be coming to this trip, so I won't be around for about 4 days.
Well, that's all for now. Till then, have a wonderful weekend. Take care. :D
