Letters To You
I'll have an entry on my trip to Bakersfield later on today. Right now I'm in class taking a break from reseaching and working on my assignment, in the middle of Hell Week. Since it's my typography class, I thought I'd do a letter related theme... Anyhow...
This is how it works: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation what the word means to you and why, and than pass out letters to those who want to play along.

* Luc Bourdon: Moncton Wildcats defenseman and Vancouver Canucks' prospect. He's also known for having sexy indie boy hair and a bushy unibrow. ;)
* Luc Robitaille: L.A. Kings' Left Winger who just recently retired. One of my all time favorite Kings player & all around hockey player.
* Los Angeles: I've pretty much lived there in a way all my life since I always go there. I didn't officially move to the L.A. area until almost 2 years ago.
* Libertines, The: British Rock band that I really like a lot and listen to. Sadly they broke up and members of the band formed other bands like Babyshambles (Pete), Dirty Pretty Things (Carl & Gary) & Yeti (John)
* Luke Fritshaw: Long Beach Ice Dogs Rookie Defenseman & former WHLer. He's a uber cutie and sweetie. ;)
* Las Vegas: Sin City Baby! Whatever is done in Vegas stays in Vegas.
* Los Angeles Kings: NHL Hockey Team & My favorite hockey team hands down!
* Long Beach Ice Dogs: ECHL Hockey Team affiliated w/ the Montreal Canadiens. The team that has the "French 5" made up of Christian Larrivee, Michael Lambert, Jimmy Bonneau, Olivier Michaud & Steeve Villeneuve.
* Live Journal: Duh! No explaination needed.
* Love: Until now, I didn't believe it at all... Afterall, it's a strong word and feeling...

* Glasshouse, The: A concert venue located in Pomona. This is by far one of my favorite concert venues to go to.
* Graphic Novels: I love reading them and hopefully one day I can write/draw one. :)

* Drive Thru Records: A record label company owned by Richard & Stephanie (Goddess) Reines. Most notable DTR bands are The Early November, Hidden In Plain View, Halifax, Socratic, Hellogoodbye, Something Corporate, Homegrown, Finch, RX Bandits and more. One of my favorite record label comanies.
* Dessert: Mmmmmm... That's all I have to say!
* Drummondville Voltigeurs: A QMJHL & currently my 2nd favorite Q team behind the Moncton Wildcats
* Dork: Cuz I am one! :P
* Daft Punk: A electronica band that I like and makes me want to dance. They also made a movie out of their album Aerodynamic as well as their music video to One More Time (Think of a much extended version of that music video).
* Dashboard Confessional: An emo-acoustic rock band that I like. Chris Carrabba is the band's notable lead singer and guitarist.
* Derick Brassard: Another cutie who plays for the Voltigeurs. Ranked #4 of all North American skaters by the Scouting Bureau. Will be drafted in the NHL this year.

* Riverside, CA: My 2nd hometown... I'm hoping to move back there soon.
* Remember Maine: An old band of William Beckett's before he joined The Academy Is... Pretty much the music is all acoustic.
* Rancid: One of my favorite punk bands that came from the Operation Ivy family branch.
* Reading Royals: Another ECHL Hockey Team Affiliated w/ the L.A. Kings. They are my 2nd favorite ECHL team behind the Ice Dogs.
* Rimouski L'Oceanic: Another QMJHL team that I like. That was one of the first Q teams I liked. Players like Vincent Lecavalier, Brad Richards, Sebastien Caron, Joe Rullier, Michel Ouellet & Sidney Crosby played for that team.
* Rockabilly: One of my favorite music genres that has a retro feel. Rockabilly bands I like are Tiger Army, Horrorpops, Nekromantix, The Peacocks & more...
* Rosa, Pavel: One of my all time favorite Czech hockey players. I miss him lots!
* Rullier, Joe: One of my all time favorite Oceanic player, Kings prospect, Monarch player & all time hockey players.
* Rookies: I usually call them baby players. Most notable rookies from this season are Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Dion Phaneuf, Henrik Lundqvist, Marek Svatos & even George Parros and Jason LaBarbera. Jimmy Bonneau, Jason Beeman & Luke Fritshaw are the Ice Dogs' notable rookies.
* Riverside, University of California: My Alma Matter. I went there for 4 years and got my BA in Studio Art there.

How many times has someone on your friends list posted about something and you were really confused, but you didn't want to ask because you knew you should know? How many times have you felt 'guilty' asking a close LJ friend a question that should be 'obvious'?
